Sir Alf .... manager and team at fault?
Of course they're at fault! Who elses fault would it be ?
Slag the Daves off all you like but I looked at our line up today and really thought we had a shout but fuck me , we caved in without a fight just like we did on so many occasions last season . We look off the pace and short on ideas just like we did on so many occasions last season!I do wonder what the fuck goes on at our training sessions. Do they work on team shape , tactics or take the opposition into consideration. Is Bilic just too nice maybe ?
Surely someone pointed out that Lukaku always scores against us ? So why oh why was he marked by our shortest defender ? It's not fucking rocket science!

Re: Bilic
Seriously people. We are bottom because the manager made the wrong choices. We did well last season playing 3 CB's. So we start all pre-season friendlies with 2 CB's and don't impress. We then go to Old Trafford and repet.

At 2-0 down we bring on another striker and take of a DM to go 4-4-2. Away at Old Trafford. Brave or stupid? Well I don't advocate BFS tactics but this was a game where we needed to defend. Not stick 2 forwards and 2 wingers up top.

That's why we are rock bottom. We start handicappped by idiotic management and I say that with deep regret. It would be fantastic to keep Bilic for years to come but he is seriously clueless...

Anyone that buys Zaza, Tore and Ayew for big money has serious judgement problems imho. Declan Rice was one good thing to come out of the debacle this afternoon. For an 18 year old we have a serious talent on our hands. Shame we have a manager that doesn't know WTF he's doing....

Re: Bilic
Really fucks me off that you can't slag "mr West Ham" off.
As a player for us he was just as much a judas as Ince and Lampard yet we can't slag him because he's 'one of us'. What a load of bollocks. That was the worse performance of any team in the premier league this weekend. We have a fucking good squad that is seriously underperforming and that is entirely down to the manager. The same man that, as a player, fucked us off for purely selfish reasons (money) We voted him player of the year and sung songs to him to stay. And he still left!
He is fucking clueless and is surviving because he's 'West Ham'!
The bloke's a phoney

It's very hard to find anything else to say on this issue. I think I've been in favour of replacing the manager since Sept 25th last year (the defeat to Southampton at home). I've seen nothing since to change my mind.

Theres no dought about Ince being a "judas"
The same can't be said about Lamperd jnr,he was a young kid who got hounded out of the club for fuck all ..
He's said and done some dopey things since purely on the strength he was hounded out by a lot of us,I've never got the hatred aimed at him in the early days.
There's no loyalty when it comes to big paydays it happens time and time again, infact it's got miles worse since the departure of bilic and cottee.
I like Slaven and would love him to do well here. That' might be just me and a few others.
I've asked the question loads of times on here.If bilic gets the elbow who's a realistic replacement?
I can't see a queue of top managers lining up to replace him under our owners, can you?

People can debate, name call etc all day long, but the reality is that Bilic is not up to it at this level and won't be hear too much longer. That's as clear as fucking day, 'knicker wetting' or not.

so as usual the cunt owners get away with spending fuck all and its all the managers fault

Bilic is happy with the squad, ERNIE. He got all his first choices in.

Re: Bilic
So as usual the owners get slagged off for being tight despite supporting the manager with funds on numerous players he has wanted since he took charge, breaking our transfer records.

Re: Bilic
So the problems last season were too many injuries, lousy defending, inability to pass the ball forward without losing possession, inability to create chances and when we did we couldn't score. There were also questions over team fitness.

Nothing seems to have changed, poor investment in terms of money spent and poor tactics. As much as I like Slaven I don't see him surviving very long if something does not change quickly.

Part of me thinks this was 1st game of season against Man U, then another part says picking up from where we left of last season re getting our arse handed to us, another tough season ahead.

Re: Bilic
Come on then, let's have some suggestions if,as I suspect, things don't improve much and we are in the lower half of the table around October.
Harry's got a job. Silva went to Watford. Benitez won't leave Newcastle for us.
The only immediate possibility seems to be Pards. Would you want him back?
Or do we just put up with 'superslav' until the end of his contract and pray we are not relegated.

Russ of the BML 10:42 Mon Aug 14
Re: Bilic
Bilic is under huge pressure. Not just from the abysmal season last year but now, having successfully got all his main targets, when they are all played if results don't pick up he is gone. We all know that and he know's that.

Yesterday's result will do him damage but it is not as much as it could've been. First game, new signings, injuries.... He has excuses.

dazz 10:55 Mon Aug 14

We can all draw on conlusions ...

IMHO ...from what ive seen...thats 2 years in a row we've been on preseason Camp..

And it's 2 years in row the required training and
fitness levels has not been accomplished.

Man utd won every 50/50..it's at Old trafford yeh ...
but that display was rediculous.

Re: Bilic
I work with a big Watford fan, and he said the difference he saw in Silva's first game was incredible, reckons they played more football against Liverpool than they did in the entirety of last season, and that you could see they had a definitive game plan, and the pressing style was obvious.

It saddens me to say it, as I was a strong Bilic advocate, and of course you can't just judge him on yesterday, but we really do seem to be stuck in a time warp of 'sit back and hope for the best' against the best teams. High intensity is a must in today's game, and we are the polar opposite.

Willtell 11:10 Mon Aug 14
Re: Bilic
It was Man Utd's first game too. Except they have played Sampdoria, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man City & LA Galaxy in pre-season matches. Won most too I shouldn't wonder. They were fit and sharp as a knife...

Has Bilic had us up and ready for action in any pre-season since joing WH?
